Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental, private, apolitical, non-religious and non-profit organization created in 1979. Its goal is to combat hunger and dangerous situations that threaten men, women and children. Currently 500 expats and more than 5,000 employees are working for Action Against Hunger in more than forty-six countries working in projects concerning four areas of focus: nutrition, health, food security and water and sanitation.
GENERAL OBJECTIVES
Facilitate safe, secure access to deliver the needed services to beneficiaries through an integrated risk management approach.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
· Build up a culture of risk management in the organization at senior management level in HQ, regions and missions.
· Improve constantly the security management culture in action against hunger Spain.
· Ensure an important input in organizational strategic processes.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
· A minimum of 4 years’ experience in position(s) with similar responsibility.
· University degree or similar in international law, politics, humanitarian sciences and/or international relations.
· Excellent knowledge in security management and risk management, humanitarian sector and international cooperation.
· Broad knowledge of the sector and its future development.
· Excellent level of English, and preferably a working knowledge of Spanish and/or French.
· MS OFFICE, databases, sharepoint.
· Gender approach acknowledgement would be an asset.
· Available to travel.
REMUNERATIVE PACKAGE
We offer immediate incorporation to a dynamic international network with the following remuneration package:
· Contract: indefinite.
· Remuneration: between 28,500€ and 32,500€ gross per year.
· 25 working days of annual leave (proportional to time worked).
· Tickets restaurant.
