PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Under the general supervision of the PFP Manager, the Digital Fundraising Assistant, will contribute with the organization’s goals as it will assist the different fundraising (FR) areas in the planning, coordination and execution of digital marketing campaigns, platforms and actions to engage current and acquire potential donors.

Key Expected Results

  • Contribute to the preparation of the Digital Fundraising plan (within the PSFR Workplan) by analysing different area requirements and provide relevant information on digital fundraising mechanisms, opportunities and trends.
  • Plan, monitor and coordinate the implementation of the different Digital fundraising initiatives and campaigns.
  • Keep and share an up-to-date analysis of digital fundraising innovation, best practices, opportunities and trends, from UNICEF Colombia, other national NPOs and other UNICEF offices.
  • Carry out and delivery effectively administrative tasks and responsibilities
  • Key Accountabilities and Duties & Tasks

    Within the delegated authority and under the given organizational set-up, the incumbent may be assigned the primarily, shared, or contributory accountabilities for all or part of the following areas of major duties and key end-results.

  • Contribute to the preparation of the Digital Fundraising plan (within the PSFR Workplan) by analysing different area requirements and provide relevant information on digital fundraising mechanisms, opportunities and trends.
  • Duties & Tasks :

  • Search and analyze digital fundraising trends, opportunities and challenges.
  • Contribute to strategic planning discussions by putting forward ideas to improve our communications based on up-to-date knowledge of digital communication and e-marketing trends
  • Support the implementation and reporting of the digital strategies for fundraising campaigns.
  • Produce content for the digital platforms including editing and developing content.
  • Maintain a bank of audio visual hardware and software for the use of PFP area.
  • Develop website, emails, prepare imagery, and manage CMS systems, including content uploading.
  • Assist in gathering technical specifications for website forms, coordinate and undertake website testing and issue tracking.
  • Interact with external suppliers to drive successful execution of the digital fundraising work plan.
  • Assist in the realization of digital campaigns by providing technical support on choosing the right media, digital platform, target audiences and suppliers.
  • Coordinate and synergize the different digital fundraising efforts (suppliers, agencies, digital media)
  • Operational responsibility for the digital fundraising ecosystem, including websites, landing pages, digital platforms, e-tools and e-communication.
  • Carry out and delivery effectively administrative tasks and responsibilities.
  • Plan, monitor and coordinate the implementation of the different Digital fundraising initiatives and campaigns.Duties & Tasks:
  • Lead the digital strategy,
  • Provide accurate support, reports and guidance on the use of digital channels,
  • Design and ensure the implementation of investment funds applications, and,
  • Generate an effective cross-functional coordination and collaboration with other PFP’s areas.
  • Provide specialist advice and technical support to colleagues on technical matters.
  • Keep and share an up-to-date analysis of digital fundraising innovation, best practices, opportunities and trends, from UNICEF Colombia, other national NPOs and other UNICEF offices.
  • Duties & Tasks :

  • Assist in the collating of information – Google Analytics, or similar – to produce reports and analyse trends.
  • Provide information relating to digital fundraising (i.e. websites, email and social media activity) for reports and meetings as required.
  • Web traffic and source analytics monitoring and reporting against key performance indicators.
  • Participate in national, regional and international digital fundraising workshops, lectures, groups or conferences, representing the CO Colombia and ensuring that the learnings are later distributed to the PFP team.
  • Research and provide information relating to new methods of communication and new media and technologies as required
  • Carry out and delivery effectively administrative tasks and responsibilities
  • Duties & Tasks

  • Processes and examines information and data in accordance with instructions received, making necessary abstracts and computations.
  • Assist in monitoring and tracking expenditures against the approved budget and income results.
  • Assist in searching and evaluating potential suppliers.
  • Assist in preparing Terms of Reference for quotations and in following up quotation processes.
  • Qualifications of Successful Candidate

  • Education
  • University Degree in Marketing, Publicity, Communication, Business Administration, Computer

    Science (Preferred).

  • Work Experience5 years of progressively responsible work experience in marketing, promotional or fundraising areas. Experience in working for international organizations would be desirable. Also working with HTML coding, search engine algorithms, SEO and promotion, and analytics software will be appreciated.
