Purpose of the Position

Asistir técnicamente a UNICEF Colombia en la gestión y coordinación de las acciones de UNICEF a nivel territorial, para la atención de niños, niñas y adolescentes desvinculados de las FARC – EP

Key Accountabilities and Duties & Tasks

  • Brindar apoyo técnico a Unicef Colombia para el manejo y acompañamiento al proceso de atención de niños y niñas desvinculados de las FARC en coordinación con el Gobierno nacional, otras agencias de cooperación y los socios implementadores.
  • Acompañar y facilitar el proceso de alistamiento y preparación de los posibles lugares de acogida para la recepción de los niños, niñas y adolescentes desvinculados de las FARC-EP.
  • Tramitar la adquisición de los insumos, dotaciones y servicios requeridos para la operación de los Lugares Transitorios de Acogida y la recepción de los menores de edad, de acuerdo con la normatividad vigente y los requerimientos del Gobierno Nacional.
  • Asesorar técnicamente el diseño de la propuesta de acompañamiento y atención del operador/es definido, de acuerdo con la normatividad vigente.
  • Coordinar la recolección de la información que permita documentar el proceso de implementación de los Lugares Transitorios de Acogida.
  • Qualifications of Successful Candidate

  • Completion of secondary education, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses related to the work of the organization.
  • A minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible administrative work experience is required.
  • Experience and Knowledgein DDR, DDHH and Peace construction
  • White knowledge of the institutional architecture and the normative framework for the care of the child victim of recruitment in Colombia, as well as of the international regulations
  • Availability to travel to the interior of the country and stay in the territory the required time
  • Fluency in English and in the local language of the duty station required.
