At Relief Applications (reliefapps.org) we believe that we help humanitarian organisation to better respond to crises by providing the right innovation or the right technology and ultimately better assist those affected by disaster and conflicts.
We have developed a platform (http://Emalsys.net) to help manage and coordinate emergency response. We also develop customized apps, web platforms, and monitoring and evaluation tools for leading humanitarian organisations worldwide.
We are looking for a motivated person to join the team, bring new ideas and turn them into beautiful, yet robust tools. We believe the right innovation can make a difference during a crisis.
We are looking for developers with knowledge of MVC frameworks and/or Mobile app development for our new office in Madrid.
Working as software developer you will work in a multinational team. You will need to take part in full software development lifecycle. In any one moment Relief Applications developing several projects simultaneously which requires the ability to adapt to new skills/tools quickly.
The main responsibilities will be to help develop the Emalsys platform and apps as a front end developer. We use web and mobile technologies such as Angualr and REACT native.
Education
· Degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering
Experience
· 1-3 years
Skills Required
· Motivated developer with a passion for humanitarian development
· Strong team player with can do attitude
· Creative with a keen eye for beautiful design and excellent functionality
· Front –End (Web- Mobile):
o Required: Angular, HTML, CSS, JS, Bootstrap
o Ionic2, React
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment
· Spanish and French desired but not essential
Salary
· €24-30k
