Handicap International recruits a Regional Project Manager Inclusive Disaster Risk Management to support the Andean Countries Program of Handicap Internationa.
The main mission of the project manager is to ensure implementation of a regional project in inclusive disaster risk management (IDRM) with the objective of improving and diffusing an inclusive DRM framework in 6 countries in Latin America (Peru, Paraguay, Chile, Ecuador, Bolivia and Nicaragua) in order to increase protection and resilience of vulnerable groups, including people with disabilities, women, elderly people and indigenous people before, during and after natural disasters. The project will work at the regional level but at the national level, activities will focus on Peru and Paraguay.
It is a one year contract starting as from October 2017.
