Background

The income from Private Sector Fundraising in LACRO is growing fast. Total gross income in the region is projected to reach almost US$ 114 million in 2017. It becomes important to have a Regional Dashboard to monitoring the evolution and trend for each channel and fundraising technique. This Regional Fundraising Dashboard will help to generate alerts and take decisions in real time, it will facilitate global/regional reporting requirements.

Purpose of the Assignment

The Incumbent is expected to work independently on designing and performing a system/tool for importing reports from COs, consolidate the information from fundraising channels which gives

  • Increased access and transparency of information
  • Allows instant information sharing
  • Provides business insights
  • Automates investment fund reporting and provides information in real time.
  • Assignment Tasks

    Under the guidance of the Regional Individuals Fundraising Manager, the consultant will perform the following duties:

  • Complete the Regional Fundraising Dashboard to monitor Individuals KPI’s in LAC.
  • Complete the connection the offline databases of local nodes in a data cube and comprehensive online access of all 9 PFP countries. • Align the dashboard KPI’s to global KPI definitions
  • Continue to evolve the development of the database so that it includes KPI’s relevant for global/regional reporting requirements
  • Automate information needed for investment fund 6,12 and 36 month FDP reports • Ensure access to dynamic data tables for data mining. Exportable to popular formats (xls, csv, etc.) • Conduct training all relevant people in the use of the database • Use of open source technologies and / or productivity tools MS Office type • Information should be accessible to local network nodes (internal benchmarking) • User management and flexible, intuitive and simple permissions
  • The system has to provide security standards such as security certify of 128 – bit ALS
  • Expected Deliverables

  • A completed regional dashboard capturing real time donor information for regional office and country office use by March 20th.
  • Alignment of the Dashboard KPI’s in line with global definitions, add additional KPI’s to assist CO reporting by June 20th.
  • Create additional dashboard views within the regional dashboard which will provide FDP information for 6,12,36 months in real time.
  • Qualifications of Successful Candidate

  • Five years of relevant work experience in System Architecture with focus to Sales, Marketing or Fundraising, organizations.

    The Incumbent is expected to work under the supervision of the Regional Individuals Fundraising Manager.

    CONSULTANTS WORK PLACE

    The hired consultant will work primary in home or office base. If travel is required, travel costs will be covered by UNICEF as per travel guidance.

    HONORARIA & FEES:
