Job Purpose
Providing major and mega donor assistance services from WVUSA office, especially supporting fund raising for the “Every One” campaign. The “Donor Relations Officer” will coordinate with the different departments of the WVUSA office, (mainly the group from International Programs, Marketing, Engagement and the Donor Service Department) and the departments of the Honduras National Office (National Director, GAM Directorate, Operations Directorate, Area Programs APs) to expand and enhance expertise and knowledge from different kinds of donors regarding World Vision Honduras’ field projects.
Knowledge & Abilities
Bachelor's Degree required with preference in Communications, International Relations, Marketing, Community Development, or related field of study.
Two years of experience in similar position
Excellent communication and public relations skills with a strong ability in English (bilingual).
(written and oral) and the ability to clearly communicate complex ideas and principles required.
Technical experience in video, photography and writing.
Driving 4×4 vehicle
Main Responsibilities
Keeping the promise of WVUS to donors by researching, planning and providing high quality products that demonstrate the impact of the program on the different beneficiaries.
Assistance to donors who visit the Honduras National Office, travel through so-called "Vision Trips." This includes the understanding of objectives provided by WVUSA’s fund raising team and the validation of the national leadership of WVHN to plan strategically.
