ROLE PURPOSE:
The Regional Corporate Fundraising Manager is a specialist post requested by Members, with the responsibility for delivering support in developing and building corporate fundraising capacity in the LAC region. The ultimate objective is to grow the overall amount raised through corporate partnerships in the region, focussing on key markets and un-earmarked funding.
Key elements it will include:
- Creating and supporting the delivery of the Corporate fundraising strategy across LAC region
- Mentoring Corporate fundraisers and developing capacities of the local fundraising teams
- Lead and contribute to fundraising efforts engaging with current and prospective donors in support of priority countries and programmatic areas
- Working with a wide range of stakeholders (external and internal) to realise regional Corporate opportunities
- Building a culture of innovation
- Ensure the effective integration of corporate fundraising, individual fundraising, programs, communications and advocacy
QUALIFICATIONS

A university degree in business/marketing, social sciences or a related discipline.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Experience of working on national and international corporate partnerships in two or more markets in the Americas
- Proven track record of winning new business (minimum 5 years)
- Significant experience of negotiating and maintaining multi-level Corporate partnerships (CSR, Sustainability, Shared Value partnerships, Philanthropy, Cause Related Marketing, Employee Engagement, Child Rights Business Principles etc.)
- Experience of working in a central support function servicing multiple markets, supporting teams remotely and who are not direct reports
- Proven entrepreneurial track record.
- Ability to secure support from a diverse project team to achieve agreed goals
- Ability to work on own initiative without close supervision
- Ability to think creatively and strategically.
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic abilities on Digital Marketing strategies and management
- Ability to influence and motivate others and to foster collaboration to liaise with a wide range of people at all levels and across different cultures and to act with credibility, tact and diplomacy.
Verbal and written fluency in Spanish and English
